Une Forêt d’Or Scented Candle by Annick Goutal captures the special feeling of coming home after a winter walk through the forest. Outside, snow still rests on the pine branches, while indoors the house is decorated with greenery, mandarins, and fresh oranges. A warm memory inextricably linked to the holiday season.

The fragrance opens with sparkling mandarin and orange peel, followed by the fresh, green aroma of pine needles. Resinous and green nuances evoke a winter conifer forest, while soft woody notes and amber provide warmth and atmosphere.

Une Forêt d’Or was created by Annick Goutal herself and went on to become one of the Maison’s most beloved home fragrances. The combination of fresh citrus and aromatic pinewood immediately evokes the atmosphere of Christmas and winter days without becoming heavy or overly sweet.

Goutal scented candles are handcrafted in France. The carefully blended wax and cotton wick ensure that the fragrance spreads beautifully throughout the room as the candle burns.

Care instructions:
For the first use, we recommend allowing your candle to burn until the entire surface has liquefied (approximately 2 to 2.5 hours). This helps to even out the wax level and prevent a hollow from forming around the wick. Then care for your candle by trimming the wick regularly (to approximately 5 mm) to prevent smoke and unsightly residue. Re-center the wick after each use. It is also advisable to ventilate the room. Do not allow your candle to burn all the way down; make sure that at least 5 mm of unmelted wax remains in the glass. Has your candle burned down completely? Give it a second life, for example as a candle holder, flowerpot, or pencil holder.
