Histoires de Parfums
Founded in 2000 by Gérald Ghislain, who views perfume as an art form that brings stories to life. After a career in gastronomy and training at ISIPCA, the renowned French perfumery school, he decided to translate his passion for scents into a perfume house where creativity was given complete freedom. Instead of designing perfumes around trends or marketing, he built an olfactory library where each creation is inspired by a historical figure, a significant year, a poem, or a musical masterpiece. Each fragrance forms a new chapter, written with raw materials instead of words, and intended to bring emotions to life on the skin. For Gérald Ghislain, a perfume is not about the search for the most beautiful scent, but for the most beautiful emotion.
Histoires de Parfums remains true to the rich tradition of French perfumery, where craftsmanship, creativity, and high-quality ingredients come together. At the same time, the house distinguishes itself through its independent character and the freedom to continually create surprising scent stories. Travel, art, literature, and encounters form an inexhaustible source of inspiration, giving each composition its own atmosphere and personality. With respect for people, raw materials, and production, the perfume house also chooses a conscious and thoughtful way of doing business, without compromising its artistic vision. Histoires de Parfums invites you not just to wear a perfume, but to experience a story that unfolds uniquely with each wearer.
