Tuileries Classic Candle by Trudon is a floral, fruity chypre fragrance inspired by French court culture and Marie Antoinette. The collection originated from a remarkable document in the French National Archives: the Gazette des Atours de la Reine, a collection of fabric samples used for the dresses and royal garments of the French queen.

At the heart of Tuileries is the rose, Marie Antoinette’s favourite flower. The fragrance opens fresh and fruity with rosewood, blackcurrant and mandarin. White flowers and rose unfold at the heart, followed by musk, patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla, which create a soft, warm base.

Tuileries was created by perfumer Émilie Bouge, who developed several iconic house fragrances for Trudon. Her love of natural raw materials shines through in Tuileries in an elegant composition where rose, fruity accents and soft woody notes come together harmoniously.

The 270-gram Classic Candle is Trudon’s iconic size and diffuses the fragrance beautifully throughout the room. The candle is made in the Trudon atelier in Normandy according to the Maison’s traditional craftsmanship. The characteristic glass is handmade in Tuscany.
