The large Galerie des Flammes candle by Trudon is inspired by a Christmas Eve in eighteenth-century Versailles. In the richly decorated Hall of Mirrors, the firelight reflects endlessly in the mirrors while the flames dance among gilded ornaments and precious wood carvings. Galerie des Flammes captures this warm, festive atmosphere in a rich woody fragrance.

The scented candle opens with cinnamon, Provençal cypress and smoky notes that immediately evoke a crackling fire. At the heart, leather, incense and rose come together, followed by cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood and woody amber, creating a warm and long-lasting base. The fragrance refers to the old Christmas tradition in which a large log remained burning in the fireplace for twelve days, until Epiphany.

For La Nuit des Glaces, the iconic Trudon candle is given a special festive edition, inspired by a Christmas Eve in eighteenth-century Versailles. In the richly decorated Hall of Mirrors, the firelight reflects endlessly in the mirrors, a play of light and fire that lies at the heart of the collection. The inside of the glass is hand-covered with silver leaf, after which the glass is lacquered in soft celadon tones. With Galerie des Flammes, this creates a golden celadon mirrored effect that reflects the candlelight and accentuates the warm glow of a festive fire.
