The Galerie des Flammes Intermezzo by Trudon is inspired by Christmas Eve in eighteenth-century Versailles. In the richly decorated Hall of Mirrors, the firelight is reflected endlessly in the mirrors, while the flames dance among gilded ornaments and precious wood carvings. Galerie des Flammes captures this warm, festive atmosphere in a rich woody fragrance.

The scented candle opens with cinnamon, Provençal cypress and smoky notes that immediately evoke a crackling fireplace. At the heart, leather, incense and rose come together, followed by cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood and woody amber, creating a warm and long-lasting base. The fragrance refers to the old Christmas tradition in which a large log remained burning in the fireplace for twelve days, until Epiphany.

For La Nuit des Glaces, the iconic Trudon candle receives a special festive edition, inspired by Christmas Eve in eighteenth-century Versailles. In the richly decorated Hall of Mirrors, the firelight is reflected endlessly in the mirrors, a interplay of light and fire that is central to the collection. The inside of the glass is hand-covered with silver leaf, after which the glass is lacquered in soft celadon tones. With Galerie des Flammes, this creates a golden celadon mirror effect that reflects the candlelight and emphasizes the warm glow of a festive fireplace.
