Tanguy Guesnet is a French perfumer of a new generation, combining classical perfumery expertise with a distinctly contemporary vision.

For more than ten years, he has been developing his own olfactory signature and is now a perfumer at Expressions Parfumées. For Guesnet, a fragrance emerges from the meeting of memory and raw materials: he believes that scent should not only be beautiful, but above all evoke something. He therefore likes to seek out contrasts and aims to surprise with his compositions, sometimes even to unsettle a little.

This fondness for contrast is clearly reflected in his work. In Holy Berry for D’ORSAY, for example, he set an almost nostalgic strawberry milk accord against the dark, mysterious depth of white oud. His style ranges from fresh, modern fougères to woody, spicy and more sensual compositions, often combining familiar ingredients in unexpected ways.

In a short time, Guesnet has built a versatile portfolio with creations for, among others, D’ORSAY, Lacoste, Rochas, Obvious and Solférino Paris. His best-known fragrances include Holy Berry for D’ORSAY, Mademoiselle Rochas in Paris and Lacoste Original, which he created together with Anne Flipo.
