Marie Huguenot is a French perfumer at Robertet in Grasse, with more than fifteen years of experience in the world of fragrance. Her fascination with perfume began at the age of seven during a trip to Calvi in Corsica, where the warm, aromatic scent of the Mediterranean maquis made a lasting impression on her.

Her desire to capture such memories and emotions in fragrance eventually led her to ISIPCA, after which she began her career at L’Oréal and later worked as a junior perfumer at IFF. Through Charabot Creative, she found her way to Robertet, the historic perfume house known for its exceptional expertise in natural raw materials.

In her work, Huguenot enjoys seeking new interpretations of classic perfume themes, with emotion, memories, and natural materials playing an important role. One ingredient with which she has a special connection is mimosa, cherished for its soft, sunny, and almost comforting character.

A beautiful illustration of her style is Panettone for Acqua di Parma, for which she drew inspiration from warm Italian festive moments around the table and the scent of freshly baked panettone. In the composition, she sought the perfect balance between the soft, full character of panettone dough and the fresh vibrancy of candied citrus fruits, allowing the fragrance to evoke a sense of togetherness and cherished festive memories.

It is characteristic of Huguenot’s talent to translate a familiar scent, ingredient, or memory into an emotional experience.
