Altaïr Large Sceted Candle (Peony and Oud)

Altaïr La Grande Bougie by Trudon brings the warmth of a dreamlike desert landscape into the home. This woody floral fragrance plays with the contrast between soft peony, warm woods, agarwood, and leather.

The fragrance opens with juicy raspberry and peony. At the heart, agarwood, sandalwood, and rose provide warmth and depth, followed by cedarwood and a soft leather accord that form a distinctive base.

Altaïr was created by perfumer Émilie Bouge. For this composition, she brought together timeless woods with the softness of flowers, inspired by the symbolism of wood and earth contrasted with the delicate character of peony.

The amber-colored glass is handcrafted in Italy and comes to life when lit with warm golden-brown reflections reminiscent of sand dunes in the sunlight.

With no less than 2.8 kg of wax and five wicks, La Grande Bougie is an impressive object for larger spaces. Trudon designed this generous size for both indoors and outdoors, where the candle’s sculptural dimensions make it a true focal point.
