Leonor Greyl
Founded in 1968 by Leonor and Jean-Marie Greyl, who shared a common passion for beautiful hair and the power of plants. In their Parisian institute, they developed an innovative vision for hair care, based on the conviction that healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. While Leonor brought her expertise in hair care, Jean-Marie, as an engineer, combined botanical ingredients and natural oils into effective care formulas.
This led Leonor Greyl to become one of the first brands to place nature at the heart of high-quality hair care. Iconic products such as Huile de Germe de Blé, L’Huile de Leonor Greyl, Crème aux Fleurs, and Shampooing Crème Moelle de Bambou have been favorites of hair professionals and beauty enthusiasts worldwide for decades.
Today, Leonor Greyl remains an independent family business led by Caroline Greyl, daughter of the founders. All products are developed and manufactured in France, using carefully selected botanical ingredients sourced from various parts of the world, including Brittany, Madagascar, Asia, and Latin America. The formulas combine proven efficacy with respect for people and nature and are complemented by packaging made from recycled and recyclable materials and FSC-certified paper. By combining over fifty years of expertise, botanical knowledge, and a personalized approach to hair care, Leonor Greyl continues to be a leading name for anyone seeking healthy, shiny, and vital hair, supported by the power of nature.
