Ernesto Kaars (Rum, Tabak en Leer)

Ernesto Classic Candle by Trudon is a warm, distinctive scented candle inspired by the atmosphere of a hotel in Havana during the Cuban Revolution. In the cool, dark rooms, the scents of tobacco and leather mingle with wood, rum, and cigar smoke.

The composition opens with bergamot, grapefruit, and rum. At the heart, oakwood, clove, labdanum, and patchouli create a spicy, woody depth. Tobacco, amber, leather, and moss then form the warm, dark base that gives Ernesto its distinctive character.

Ernesto was created by perfumer Émilie Bouge, who developed several iconic house fragrances for Trudon. Her preference for natural ingredients and oriental accords comes together in Ernesto in a powerful composition of wood, spices, tobacco, and leather.
