2. Trim the wick: Trim the wick to approximately 3 to 5 mm before relighting the candle. This prevents smoke and ensures a steady flame.

3. Limit burning time: Do not burn the candle for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and uneven burning.

4. Extinguish the flame: Use a candle snuffer or blow gently to minimize smoke and splatter.

5. Even out the wax: If the wax has melted unevenly, let the candle burn until the top layer becomes liquid again.
