Hermès

Founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermès, Hermès evolved from a harness-making workshop into one of the most prestigious French houses in fashion, leather goods, silk, and perfumery. The world of fragrance took shape in 1951 with the introduction of Eau d’Hermès, created by master perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. Ten years later, Calèche, the house's first women's fragrance, followed, solidifying Hermès' place within modern perfumery. Since then, the Maison has been building a collection of fragrances where creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic freedom are central. Every creation reflects the same attention to detail and timeless style that also characterizes Hermès' other creations.

An important chapter in its history began in 2004 with the appointment of Jean-Claude Ellena as in-house perfumer. His minimalist and poetic approach shaped iconic collections such as Les Colognes, Les Jardins, Hermessence, and the Romans-Parfums, where scent is used to bring landscapes, memories, and stories to life. Even today, Hermès remains true to this artistic vision, with every fragrance created from high-quality raw materials, a sense of balance, and a deep respect for the perfumer's craft. The result is a collection of timeless perfumes that invite you to experience the world of Hermès through emotion, imagination, and scent.
