Café Scented Candle

Diptyque Café (Coffee) scented candle captures the warm, familiar atmosphere of a coffee roastery. The scent of freshly ground coffee beans takes center stage, surrounded by warm woody notes and a roasted grain accord, creating a rich and comforting home fragrance.

The candle is part of Diptyque's special herbarium of fragrances, a collection that originated in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in 1963. That year, founders Yves Coueslant, Christiane Gautrot, and Desmond Knox-Leet created their first three scented candles.

To enjoy your Diptyque candle to the fullest, follow these burning instructions:

1. First burn: Let the candle burn for at least 2 to 3 hours so that the top layer becomes completely liquid. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.

2. Trim the wick: Trim the wick to approximately 3 to 5 mm before relighting the candle. This prevents smoke and ensures a steady flame.

3. Limit burning time: Do not burn the candle for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and uneven burning.

4. Extinguish the flame: Use a candle snuffer or blow gently to minimize smoke and splattering.

5. Restore the wax: If the wax has melted unevenly, you can let the candle burn until the top layer becomes liquid again.

6. Do not burn the candle all the way down: Stop using it when approximately 5 mm of wax remains to prevent the glass from overheating.
