Caron

In 1904, thanks to the genius and talent of Ernest Daltroff, Caron opened its doors at 10 rue de la Paix in Paris. Driven by his exceptionally sensitive sense of smell, this man would bring the Caron brand to extraordinary heights in France and all over the world. His undeclared love for Félicie Wanpouille always had a considerable effect on his creations. Together, they created great emotional perfumes, such as N'Aimez Que Moi in 1916, Tabac Blond in 1919, the legendary Pour un Homme in 1934, Fleurs de Rocaille...

In the 1930's they perfected a manufacturing process for the powder that is still the finest in the world. In the 1940's, Ernest Daltroff sought refuge in the US and Félicie masterfully led the company until she died in 1967 at the age of 93.
